Use of makeup

Through use of tribal style makeup on Kristian, an image of sinister intent was created. Mimicking the tribal war paint and sun rays around his face was an important element to the costume and authenticity in the relationship between lyrics and image.

I took much inspiration from Stanley Kubric's film adaptation of 'A Clockwork Orange' in the makeup around Kristian's eyes. Slightly inspired by the character of Alex and his insanity.
