This is a video that myself and my classmates worked on just before the Christmas break. The exercise provided an excellent insight into the stresses and time management that come with a limited time and a random sample of cast members. In addition tot his I learnt the key skills involved with rasturizing and cutting out backround greenscreen content as well as replacing it with christmas and other themes. Overall, I was very pleased with the final outcome despite some of the sections being blacked due to a technical error.

This video was my first time working with a green screen and that certainly shows. Problems that we faced included an un-ironed green screen and a not very ideal place to hang it. However I was pleased with the final result and the lip-syncing seems to be quite the success story. This was a crucial factor which I will hopefully be carrying over to my own production. In terms of Mise-En-Scene, I feel like the 'eccentric' and wholeheartedly Christmas inspired attire was a good fit for the playful nature of the song and production. This element of costume as also an important lesson in clothing cast members in desired attire and a lesson I will hopefully be able to apply to my own music video where I manipulate my cast members costume and overall Mise-En-Scene features.
Thanks to all who took part and helped out. It was certainly a valuable experience for myself (and my learning curve) and all others who took part.
