Test shoot medley

On the 28th of December I successfully filmed a few shots of my production. These shots do not include any of the Mise-En-Scene to be used in my video, (other than lighting), however they are evidence of my first time filming at Fort Thungen and experimenting with various shots and zooms.

In addition to these two photographs, I also have a collection of shots recorded as presented here:
Reflection: After this excersize I found out the stresses of time management as well as, setting up the various camera possitions.

Costume and look of the artist- Simulacrum

In my production Gothic clothing and makeup (Mise En Scene) will be utilized upon the sole protagonist, due to the notion of simulacrum being applied to this production. This would be due to the main protagonist being a copy of the Principle singer/ song writer Trent Reznor.

This idea of simulacrum is an important element of my production due to the notion of enticing my core primary audience (Existing younger NIN fans, male, aged 15-25). The simulacrum will be achieved by slightly emulating Reznor's stage persona with items such as black skinny jeans in addition to black leather boots/ jacket. Simulacra is an integral component of Baudrillard's theory of 'signifiers' and how in this post modern view, nothing we can produce or see is original in any way.

Simulacrum will also be used in the behaviour of the protagonist in the semi-narrative production.
Examples of this will be seen in the protagonist's depressive behaviour in the grimy cell of the darkened fort.
